Technical Parameters
Xiamen Stone Epic Co., Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of slab of rose quartz, offering customized solutions directly from our factory. High-quality slabs available for purchase.
Product Overview
A rose quartz slab is rarely selected as a standard surface material. In most projects, it is used when the surface itself is expected to carry visual identity, rather than simply match surrounding finishes.
Compared with white or grey quartz, pink-toned slabs introduce a different constraint: they must be controlled carefully within the overall design. If used correctly, they create a focal point. If overused, they can quickly dominate the space.
This is why rose quartz is typically specified by designers at the concept stage, not substituted later in procurement.
Where It Works in Practice
From actual project use, rose quartz slab is most commonly applied in:
- reception desks or feature counters
- boutique retail interiors
- hotel vanity areas
- decorative wall panels
- custom furniture surfaces
In these scenarios, the material is not required to cover large continuous areas. Instead, it is used to create contrast against neutral backgrounds such as white, beige, or wood finishes.

Material Structure and Stability

Despite its decorative appearance, rose quartz slab follows the same engineered quartz structure:
- approximately 90–93% natural quartz
- resin binder system
- controlled pigmentation
This results in:
- low water absorption
- stable color between production batches
- resistance to common stains and daily wear
In practice, the advantage over natural pink stone is consistency - both in color tone and slab availability.
Fabrication Reality
The main challenge with rose quartz slab is not cutting, but visual control during fabrication.
Because of the lighter and colored surface:
- joint lines are more visible if not aligned properly
- adhesive color selection becomes critical
- edge finishing must be consistent across all pieces
For contractors, this means fabrication is less about speed and more about precision in final appearance.
Thickness and Application Fit
Standard production:
- 3000 × 1400 mm
- 3200 × 1600 mm
Thickness options:
- 15 mm
- 20 mm
- 30 mm
From a practical standpoint:
- 15 mm → wall panels, decorative surfaces
- 20 mm → vanity tops, light-use countertops
- 30 mm → feature islands or statement furniture
The selection is usually driven by visual weight and structural requirement, not just specification.

When Not to Use Rose Quartz
This is where many projects make mistakes.
A rose quartz slab is not ideal for:
- large commercial kitchens with heavy use
- areas requiring visual neutrality
- projects where batch replacement may be needed later
The material is best used where design control is maintained and where the surface is not expected to be replaced frequently.
Supply for Projects
For distributors and contractors, rose quartz is typically supplied as:
- full slabs for local fabrication
- pre-cut panels for interior installation
- customized orders for design projects
In project supply, the key concern is not only quality, but color consistency across the entire batch, especially for visible installations.
